Version 3.0 just arrived. Now also works with Digital cameras with 1.5 or
1.6x chips.
When trying to maximize sharpness from
foreground to background, you need the Hyperfocal setting for that lens and f-stop. But
most auto-focus and zoom lenses no longer have depth-of-field marks making it impossible
to focus at the Hyperfocal distance. My wallet-sized Hyperfocal Card
(shown here front and back), covers focal lengths from 14mm up to
50mm. Hyperfocal settings for lenses above 50mm don’t mean much. Data is
listed for apertures from f4 to f32 with instructions right on the card. A
separate detailed sheet has more information. The best $5 photo gadget ever!
